Tribute to Notre-Dame on the cover of the New Yorker of April 29,

2019. Two weeks earlier the Parisian cathedral suffered a devastating fire that took from it the famous arrow of Viollet-le-Duc as well as its vault and frame of its roof, a real forest... Under the pen of Bob Staake, the two towers stand against all odds, immutable. The light crosses fire crosses the rose window where the silhouettes of the two angels and the virgin to the child stand out fragile.
